Home Food vs Outside Food
Outside food is much to our liking because we like it when we have options. We daydream about outside food. It's not only unhealthy food like street food that we incline towards; the inclination is towards healthy food as well. Let me draught a healthy food (we think) that is from outside, like protein powder, milk power brands like Bournvita, complain, boast, etc., oats, muesli, and many more. Outside of healthy food, we think it helps us because it was marketed like that. Big muscles, flashy models, some charts, and some numbers with protein content make us believe it's healthy and will work with my body, and I will soon become the marketed body shape.
What thoughts do we get when we have home food? We don't incline towards it. There is no motivation for home cooking. We feel it's like a burden, like homework, which is given to us compulsively. We don't get good-tasting food at home. We instinctively find fault with home-cooked food. We feel home food is for survival and daily work. It's free, and it doesn't take much effort to get it and make it. Even healthy athletes feel that home food will not give them the strength and other important nutrients that outside food will. This is not true. Let's see how.
We need to understand (rather than absorb) that we are a physical structure like any machine that runs on fuel or electricity. Physical means something that we can change based on needs. Yes, some change requires a lot of effort and time, and some change just happens fast because we change something that is in line with the nature of the machine, for example, a pedal sewing machine converted to an electric sewing machine.
We need to understand the nature of our physical body, mental state, emotions, and some aspects of genetics. Is it very difficult to understand nature? I think it's not really difficult because what we need to survive on this planet will be known to you intuitively. Whatever food is given to you from childhood is given compulsively. In childhood, your mind doesn't need the food, but it is given compulsively so that we can be healthy. Point 1: Compulsion leads to the feeling that "home food is compulsive" and "outside food is a choice," and we do something willingly rather than being forced. So, let's try to make home food willingly.
Outside food is funded more on marketing than quality; on the other hand, home food is about quality rather than showing off. The icing on the cake is that outside food is addictive because it's drugged (high salt, sugar, or preservative), which indirectly has a lot of recall value. Rather, home food is more focused on quality in terms of health, so it has no addictive items in it. So, to change this, we have to become lifelong students of food. We need to be aware of any food we eat. We need to feel the food after consuming it. Ask questions like, "Does the food give me energy or take my energy?" Record that information for any brand, like Bounvita or protein powder. This record of information will help you make the right decision when super expensive ads are played in front of you and you know by experience that they are fake.
Home food is actually better than any protein powder, just that we need to consume it in the proper quantity, at the proper time, and with proper cooking. I just like to urge you here to learn about the quality of food, the timing of that particular food, the basic nature of that food, how-to cook that food, and the bonus idea of choosing raw food, which is more in its natural state.
